Week 7 Review:
Week 7 was a nightmare for the eastern Division, only being able to grab one win in all the cross-division matchups. We saw a lot of these matchups coming down to the wire on monday night football. Grayson was able to hold off the surge of Jordan Addison and Jake Moody from Noah, winning by about 3 points. Cal’s team indeed did have a buffet and was the top team scorer of the week. Matthew had a solid performance in his win over Braycuz. Landon and Jack Baud put up the most pitiful efforts in their losses to Jackson and Grant (these guys really scored 73 and 75 points). The craziest matchup last week was Brock Purdy throwing a late game interception to seal the win for Trever over Hunter. Also happening during this past week was two meaningful trades, the first between Noah D. and Trever, Noah acquiring Deebo Samuel in exchange for Joe Mixon and DeAndre Hopkins. This gives Trever much needed running back depth, while also improving Noah’s wide receiver group, all around solid trade in my mind. The second trade was between Brayden and Landon. Stefon Diggs and Ezekiel Elliott have found a new home in Brayden’s loving arms, while Josh Downs and Saquon Barkley are now relegated to the purgatory that is Landon’s squad. No player would willingly play for Landon’s team, he is constantly trying to trade back and forth for a sliver of value. In fact he has reached out to me multiple times to try and unload his pieces. He shows no love or connection to his team, but maybe that’s exactly what they need to turn his season around.
As we look towards week 8, we are going back into division games, second time matchups for everyone in the league. We are now 7 weeks into the season and into the gritty portion of the season. Hopefully, rosters have made adjustments after already playing these teams once already. One team that is making changes, is Landon’s struggling roster. After trading for Diggs earlier in the year, he trades him and Zeke away to Braycuz for Saquon and Josh Downs. Maybe this can help him turn things around. No teams are on bye this week for some weird reason after having six teams resting last week, so having our full rosters should give everyone a bit of a boost.

Notes:
This is a matchup between the hottest team in the league and the second best team in the league. Jelly’s team continues his surge last week and is now on a 4 game win streak. Jelly is aware of the challenge ahead of him against Matthew’s team but expects his “guys are going to get in there and do what they have been doing.” Matthew is coming in with a little less respect. He said he wants to make a statement and “Humble Jellyfam.” He also stated , ‘what am I playing for if it isn’t weeks like these.” This is a pivotal matchup in the league and could solidify matthew at the top or spice things up. It should also be noted that matthew added “Landon sucks” to his feeling about this week, and everyone can agree with him on that.

Notes:
Cal is having a bounceback year after his last place finish last season, he is currently in third place with the fourth most points scored, Cal had this to say going into the week: “Noahs good im scared still a god damn buffet”. This quote has Noah fearing for his season, not much has gone his way so far this season, starting with the Nick Chubb injury, he hasn’t been able to close out games, losing the last three each by less than ten points, heartbreaking stuff as he is currently sits below .500 despite leading the league by 70 points, when asked about the year and his future, Noah said, “I don’t want to fucking talk about it. I’m scoring a lot of points, what am I supposed to do. Play defense? I don’t think so.”

Points For | 732.1 | 877.0 |
Points Against | 803.8 | 768.5 |
Notes:
This is best vs worst in the league right now and it should be a scary week for Hunter. However, Hunter is excited that nobody is on bye this week and wants to make the series against me this season 1-1. He did say that the person that scares him the most on Grayson’s team is “Jake “Iron Foot” Elliot. And who are we to blame him, that guy is a dawg. Grayson on the other hand wants to punish this bozo. He said, “ this guy is 1-6 and thinks he can even this series up, Hunter must not know about 🍚 (Rashee Rice). It is gonna be a spooky halloweekend when he sees the score on Sunday.”
Landon (4-3) vs Noah D. (2-5)
Landon (4-3) | Noah D. (2-5)

H2H Record | 2-2 | 2-2 |
Points For | 702.5 | 817.9 |
Points Against | 758.3 | 828.3 |
Notes:
Landon is coming off of an atrocious performance last week, 75 fucking points. He did make changes on the roster this week by trading Diggs away claiming that he “was a locker room cancer” and was causing problems on the sideline ruining team chemistry. However, he is looking for his team to “Dominate this week”. When Noah was asked about this week he had a short and simple reply, “I suck.” Absolutely zero confidence in his guys. Good for him, he gets to play Landon this week to try and get back on track.
Brayden (4-3) vs Baud (3-4)
Brayden (4-3) | Baud (3-4)
Projected Points | 126.6 | 117.5 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 54% | 46% |
H2H Record | 4-1 | 1-4 |
Points For | 780.5 | 734.3 |
Points Against | 756.5 | 788.9 |
Notes:
When Braycuz was asked about this weeks matchup, he responded with “Tee is Chill!” Now that might have been in reference to our trade talks but he said nothing about the week. I guess this means that Hock and ball torture is not worried at all about this week. On the other hand Baud said he is proud of Braycuz making a trade but he doesn’t care that much and he is going to “rip his fucking balls and shove them in his mouth this Sunday.” I do not know how a team can have that confidence after putting up 73 points, this team sucks. He also made it a point that he needs a running back so hit him up. However, normally this guy has terrible trade offers. Let’s see if Braycuz can stay up at the top of the east or moves back down toward the middle.
Grant (3-4) vs Trever (4-3)
Grant (3-4) | Trever (4-3)
Projected Points | 126.5 | 118.4 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 54% | 46% |
H2H Record | 1-3 | 3-1 |
Points For | 804.4 | 789.5 |
Points Against | 791.0 | 770.7 |
Notes:
After the slow start to the season, Grant has been going on a terror through the league, winning his last 3 games. When asked about his feelings on this weeks matchup he said he did not have an ounce of worries and the “league is mine” Interestingly enough though he still has a losing record so league is not his right now. Trever on the other side of this matchup had slightly less confidence. He is claiming this week as a must win game and is excited about what his team can do going forward. Should be a solid matchup.
