Week 9 saw numerous upsets, once again showing that fantasy football is a cruel cruel world, and if you slip for just one second, everything can change. One huge upset was Baud over Matthew, along with Cal and Hunter over Grayson and Grant respectively. No major injuries to be reported this week, Justin Fields misses the week again, and in Kirk Cousins’ absence Josh Dobbs stepped up and won against the Falcons. After last week, the Western Conference continues to be close and competitive. Grayson’s loss to Cal allowed Brayden to catch up to him in the standings, and this upcoming week could be instrumental for playoff seeding as the 1 and 2 seeds are each playing each other.
Week 10 should see some fireworks between the two top matchups, but also some disappointing matchups, particularly between Hunter and Landon, along with Baud and Noah D. This week, however, sees one of the worst bye weeks, with the Eagles, Chiefs, Dolphins, and Rams on bye. So many star players, for example at QB: Mahomes, Hurts, Turndaballova RB: Mostert, WR: Brown, Reek, Nacua/Kupp TE: Kelce, Goedert and more. This week shows how truly has depth on their squad, and who is top heavy.

Brayden vs Grayson ***FFFL Matchup of the Week***
Brayden (6-3) | Grayson (6-3)
Projected Points | 127.4 | 108.0 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 59% | 41% |
H2H Record | 2-3 | 3-2 |
Points For | 1049.3 | 1095.5 |
Points Against | 951.5 | 970.1 |
Notes:
Braycuz is going into his 9th road game of the season, it is tough to have a schedule like that and have the record he does. This is the matchup for the top of the east and a matchup between two of the best records in the league. Grayson is not too confident in this one as quite a few players are on bye including the boy Tyreek Hill. Braycuz on the other hand has his eyes set on the playoff bye, and has never felt this good about a team.
Noah R. vs Matthew
Noah R (5-4) | Matthew (6-3)
Projected Points | 119.0 | 117.7 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 51% | 49% |
H2H Record | 2-2 | 2-2 |
Points For | 1238.4 | 1077.0 |
Points Against | 1114.5 | 1108.4 |
Notes:
Matthew this week seemed to be unsure of his response this week, as he snapchatted and texted me two separate responses, one was “No comment” the other was wishing me luck. Make up your mind bozo. On the other hand, I am sure of my thoughts, I want to crush this guy so hard that it makes me hard 🤨(pause?) ((resume.)).
Cal vs Grant
Cal (5-4) | Grant (4-5) | |
Projected Points | 118.1 | 119.2 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 51% | 49% |
H2H Record | 3-2 | 2-3 |
Points For | 1069.3 | 1050.4 |
Points Against | 1093.7 | 1020.8 |
Notes:
Cal sitting at 5-4 after a surprising win last week and Grants team got slowed down a bit with a loss. Grant’s only thoughts on the matchup were that he wants Mattison, he loves them damn vikings players. Cal did not have anything to say about the matchup but it looks like he wants to get another big win to stay in playoff contention.
Hunter vs Landon ***FFFL Poopy Matchup of the Week***
Hunter (2-7) | Landon (5-4)
Projected Points | 107.0 | 112.9 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 48% | 52% |
H2H Record | 3-2 | 2-3 |
Points For | 936.3 | 934.9 |
Points Against | 1008.3 | 1038.1 |
Notes:
Landon is looking to try and get into the playoffs this year and is in need of a win here after last week. After getting Josh Downs in a trade, he managed to find his way to an injury but Landon doesn’t seemed to worried as it is Pooper season. Hunter didn’t have anything to say about the matchup but it appears to be that his team is looking to ruin people’s seasons from here on out.
Jackson vs Trever
Jackson (5-4) | Trever (4-5)
Projected Points | 114.4 | 109.7 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 52% | 48% |
H2H Record | 1-3 | 3-1 |
Points For | 1043.3 | 995.8 |
Points Against | 1049.4 | 1055.0 |
Notes:
Big week for trever because Justin Jefferson might be coming back. That was his only thought coming into this week, hoping that he comes back. Jelly had a team name switch to the Jellmeister’s, and with this name change, he has no intentions of losing. He plans on a big primetime game from Josh Allen and doesn’t plan on losing to someone with the name “Goodbye”.
Noah D. vs Baud
Noah D. (2-7) | Baud (4-5)
Projected Points | 95.6 | 105.6 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 49% | 51% |
H2H Record | 3-3 | 3-3 |
Points For | 1013.5 | 952.8 |
Points Against | 1053.7 | 1002.9 |
Notes:
Baud is coming off a big win over matthew last week and does not plan on slowing down. He already beat Noah once this year and said ,” Beat him once, I’ll do it again.” He manifested his record to 4-5 last week but has yet to change his name for this week, so he can’t win but he also can’t lose, very interesting strategy by Baud. Noah Domo’s team is struggling and he desperately needs a win, 2-7 now on the year he looks to spoils any chances of hte playoffs for baud by beating him this week.
