Welcome back to the Fellas Fantasy Football League, I am excited for another year of fun and competitive fantasy football. I’d like to say thank you to all who attended the draft party, my mom says we can do it again next year if you guys want. If you all prefer the AI recaps given by ESPN, let me know before October 12 so I can cancel the domain renewal; I prefer these because they bring more personality and individual aspects.
Week 2 Recap:
This season of fantasy football already has an enormous amount of intrigue and excitement. Landon, Jackson, Brayden, and Grant are off to an excellent start, while Trever, Grayson, and both Noahs are leading disappointing campaigns. This is nothing new for Grayson, as he typically starts slow, but it will be interesting to see how can turn this ship around for the second year in a row after losing in the first two weeks by a combined 0.72 points. Absolutely heartbreaking Monday nights from Unc. Grant ruined Matthews birthday with Saquon doing just enough to surpass his score of 118.04. Kamara’s monster game helped Jelly cruise to victory, which looked similar to Landon’s and Brayden’s resounding wins over Baud and Noah D., respectively. Grant put up a league high 169.68 points in week 1, which stands as the highest yet, putting him on track to win the extra $50. Scoring has been down through the first two week across the NFL, based on the law of numbers we could see a return to the average, meaning juiced scores for a few weeks. Trever and Baud made an exciting trade, which sent McCaffrey and Dell to Baud in return for Aiyuk and Pollard, I could foresee this trade ending badly for either teams, depending on how long CMC is out and Tank Dell’s involvement in the Houston gameplan. The Isiah Pacheco injury now means that Baud’s team is in shambles and he is looking for any running back he can get. Trever also bombed $100 on Alec Pierce, we will have to wait and see if this move works.

Week 3 Preview:
****FFFL MOTW****
Landon (2-0) | Hunter (1-1)
Projected Points | 118.1 | 128.8 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 45% | 55% |
H2H Record | 2-4 | 4-2 |
Points For | 257.0 | 188.36 |
Points Against | 238.68 | 217.2 |
Notes: Landon comes into this matchup on a strong start to the season with wins over Grayson and . Hunter has also had a successful start, with a high points projection, although Joe Mixon may not be healthy enough to play. Hunter has been better in this head to head matchup, but it is clas, Landon looks to turn it around to continue his hot streak, while Hunter looks to avoid falling below .500. There could be fireworks in this one.
Matthew (1-1) | Noah R. (0-2)
Projected Points | 122.2 | 122.6 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 49% | 51% |
H2H Record | 2-3 | 3-2 |
Points For | 221.18 | 203.04 |
Points Against | 182.4 | 231.16 |
Notes: Matthew’s 22nd birthday was spoiled on Monday night this past week by Saquon’s solid performance. Noah is off to a very poor start when compared to his previous seasons, he normally is a regular season merchant while choking in the playoffs, not dissimilar to the Cowboys. This matchup has very important real life implications, if Noah loses he may take out his frustrations on Matthew, and vice versa as they are roommates. Noah owned Matthew last season, but this matchup could not be closer based on the projections, looking forward to this one.
Cal (1-1) | Jackson (2-0)
Projected Points | 125.0 | 124.0 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 58% | 42% |
H2H Record | 1-4 | 4-1 |
Points For | 240.8 | 251.08 |
Points Against | 278.54 | 201.68 |
Notes: Jackson has been great this year, starting 2-0 and has a very high projection for this week. Kupp’s injury does not help, but he should be fine with … Jalen Tolbert in the flex ??? Okay scratch that, forget everything I said, Jackson’s team is in shambles. Maybe this is the opportunity Cal needs to start changing this head to head record between the two. Also how the fuck did Cal know about Rashid Shaheed.
Brayden (2-0) | Baud (1-1)
Projected Points | 119.5 | 112.6 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 55% | 45% |
H2H Record | 6-3 | 3-6 |
Points For | 253.04 | 208.94 |
Points Against | 203.9 | 220.82 |
Notes: Brayden has largely avoided the injury bug, and that has helped him to a 2-0 start to the season. Derek Carr is now on Baud’s team, which mean he will return back to being racist which means no more Shaheed targets and only half the targets for Chris Olave. In all seriousness, Baud’s team is now on its last legs with CMC and Pacheco on IR, best case this team limps to .500 by the time McCaffrey returns from injury.
Grant (2-0) | Trever (0-2)
Projected Points | 118.4 | 111.5 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 52% | 48% |
H2H Record | 2-3 | 3-2 |
Points For | 288.52 | 171.06 |
Points Against | 245.94 | 235.96 |
Notes: Grant has another sneaky good start, bro is silent but always has some really good players on the squad. Trever could not be further from this assessment, after fleecing Baud (good trade), he decides to bomb all of his FAAB on … Alec Pierce. He is also starting two tight ends, something I have not seen in a while. It does not look optimistic from my point of view, maybe I just need to bend down to Trever’s height to see it from his eyes.
****FFFL Poop Matchup of the Week****
Grayson (0-2) | Noah D. (0-2)
Projected Points | 117.4 | 113.0 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 53% | 47% |
H2H Record | 4-2 | 2-4 |
Points For | 225.2 | 205.28 |
Points Against | 225.92 | 231.16 |
Notes: The matchup we have all been waiting for, nevermind. I’m not going to bother wasting my time writing about this shit. I am legitimately scared for Grayson’s mental health after these first two losses, don’t let this guy out of our sight, or within 500 ft of the elementary school. Noah Domo’s team is not healthy, they have lost Deebo, Allen, Njoku, and Walker to injuries, hopefully he can win this week to turn things around.
