Week 5 Recap:
After another fun week of football, the league became more balance, the undefeated (Jackson) lost and the winless (Trever) won. Hunter had a monster week, with three of the top seven performers in Ja’marr, Burrow, and somehow Darnell Mooney. Where was this shit when he was on the Bears? Anyway, good pickup and even better flex start from the kiddo, makes me proud. Trever finally had his first win with a resounding 70 point win over Noah D., while Brayden was the first to try the exotic Jelly pack in a low scoring 7 point win. The best matchup was between Grayson and Cal, both scoring above 140 points with Grayson losing another nailbiter to the Prevailers. Heartbreaking schedule for Grayson, with the most points for, he finds himself with a losing record. Now that Trever is no longer winless, he will not be in the poopy match. In his place will be Matthew, who has revamped his team, but is now on a four game losing streak, in order to spare his feelings there will be no more insults directed at him.

Week 6 Preview:
****FFFL MOTW****
Cal (3-2) | Landon (3-2) | |
Projected Points | 122.3 | 124.2 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 50% | 50% |
H2H Record | 1-5 | 5-1 |
Points For | 619.7 | 584.52 |
Points Against | 670.84 | 590.96 |
Notes: This isn’t the best matchup we’ve ever seen, but its the only matchup between two teams with winning records this week. Landon is hoping for the return of rookie sensation Malik Nabers, who was sidelined with a concussion last week. His team is also largely reliant on the return of Tua, who sends Tyreek’s value skyhigh. Cal, who is now starting the red hot Kirko, welcomes back AJ Brown to the lineup following his injury. Will the Prevailers continue prevailing? Or will Landon and his ragtag squad of misfits find a way to stop them? We will see…
Baud (2-3) | Trever (1-4)
Projected Points | 118.5 | 107.8 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 56% | 44% |
H2H Record | 0-4 | 4-0 |
Points For | 514.98 | 582.6 |
Points Against | 506.4 | 518.58 |
Notes: As promised, Trever is no longer in the Poop Bowl due to last weeks win over Noah D., all he needed was a fire under his ass to get his players to try a little harder. Baud also won last week, and he completed a trade with Noah D. He gave Trey McBride and Rico Dowdle in return for Jordan Mason, seems like a good trade. Trever traded Brandon Aiyuk for Rhamondre Stevenson with Grant, what was said to be a fleece by many of the league members, I think it was fair.
Jackson (4-1) | Grayson (2-3)
Projected Points | 106.6 | 124.1 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 41% | 59% |
H2H Record | 1-4 | 4-1 |
Points For | 605.06 | 661.06 |
Points Against | 523.34 | 626.98 |
Notes: This could have been our MOTW, if only Grayson could finish a game. What a shame, we could have a generational unlucky run from this guy. Hopefully he can turn it around against the league leading Jackson “Jelly” Drake. Jackson may have gotten the steal of the waiver this year in Tyrone Tracy Jr., Purdue legend that looked fantastic last week while Devin Dingleberry has not looked good this year. Both of these teams are losing two equal receivers this week in Tutu Atwell and Justin Jefferson.
Grant (4-1) | Noah D. (1-4)
Projected Points | 128.1 | 122.9 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 53% | 47% |
H2H Record | 1-3 | 3-1 |
Points For | 653.4 | 516.84 |
Points Against | 595.82 | 595.24 |
Notes: These are two of the highest projected point totals this week, Grant, a perennial powerhouse goes up against Noah, who has just lost to Trever’s dumpster fire. Grant is led by Jayden Daniel’s rockstar run so far, we will see how long it can last. He is hurt by Nico Collins’ hamstring injury, hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later. This could be a very dangerous team once Puka and Nico return. Noah has a very strong starting runningback room, but it falls off quickly after, from JT and K9 to Rico Dowdle and Tyjae Spears. Noah was on the other end of the trade preciously discussed with Baud, which helps his TE positon until Hockenson returns. This looks to be a great game.
Brayden (4-1) | Noah R. (2-3)
Projected Points | 121.8 | 110.1 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 56% | 44% |
H2H Record | 3-4 | 4-3 |
Points For | 584.96 | 550.28 |
Points Against | 504.94 | 597.62 |
Notes: Brayden is coming off of a season defining win over the previously undefeated Jackson, Noah, however, has just been absolutely thrashed by Hunter, who dropped 169.08 points on his head. Noah has not scored more than 120 points this entire season, he has no pop in the lineup and needs to make a change, we will see what he has in store, make offers to this guy immediately. Brayden has made it a mission to acquire all the Nonchalant Dreadheads, such is his name. On that note, Mistubishi Marv is now apart of the team, along with Najee Harris.
****FFFL Poop Matchup of the Week****
Matthew (1-4) | Hunter (3-2)
Projected Points | 110.4 | 113.7 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 49% | 51% |
H2H Record | 5-1 | 1-5 |
Points For | 523.82 | 596.38 |
Points Against | 560.6 | 549.88 |
Notes: As mentioned previously, I will not be sending any insults to Matthew to spare his feelings. Instead I will be highlighting Hunter’s squad. He was .9 away from securing the highest weekly score from Grant. Alas, it was not to be, but I have faith he will succeed again in the future. That’s all… sike, Matthew’s team sucks, he is titling in his trades, offering whatever he can to scratch a win this week. I don’t know if I’ve seen a worse four game stretch, except maybe his final four games of last season, going on a losing streak from 6-1 to end out of the playoffs. That means in his last 12 games, he is 2-10, tough look.
