Week 6 is already well underway, as we have seen the Chiefs beat the Broncos 18-9 in a low scoring affair. The highs and lows of fantasy football have become evident as injuries begin to stack up, affecting every team in the league. The past week, two top performers in Justin Jefferson (WR1) and De’Von Achane (RB4), the rookie waiver-add sensation, both being added to IR causing them to miss four weeks at a minimum. My condolences go out to both Jelly and Tfunko pop. Week 6 sees the Steelers and Packers on bye, neither team has guys that make a huge difference so this should not make or break the week.
Checking the standings, we have Goski leading the pack at 4-1 with the second most points for, while the Ruchmen are nipping at his heels at 3-2 with the most points for (watch out Tee). The middle of the league is knotted up at 3-2 and 2-3 with 9 out of the 12 teams with this record. Hunter, on the other hand, is still searching hopelessly for his first win as he faces Baud. The season is long do not give up just yet. Grant got his first win in resounding fashion as he beat defending champion Matthew by 60 points, his season has turned around very quickly with the rebirth of Joey B and Ja’Maar Chase, and he already has a sizable lead over a formidable foe in the Ruchmen.
If The Playoffs Started Today:
Gonski and Noah would have the byes weeks as the 1 and 2 seed respectively. Trever and Cal would play the 4v5 game, while Matthew and Baud would play the 3v6 game.
Average Projected Score: 124.5 points

FFFL MATCHUP OF THE WEEK
Matthew (3-2) vs Trever (3-2)
Matt | Trever | |
Projected Points | 131 | 111.1 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 60% | 40% |
H2H Record | 3-1 | 1-3 |
Points For | 599.19 | 581.08 |
Points Against | 651.1 | 541.32 |
Notes:
This is the matchup of the week for a reason. Two former champions dueling it out in a very competitive Western Conference. When ask about his thoughts going into the week, Matthew told me, he was “Confident”, Trever on the other hand responded by saying, “idk what im gonna do”. Both teams are 3-2 through five weeks, but Trever’s team was just dealt a gut punch by the fantasy gods due to JJettas placement onto IR. Matthew’s squad is coming off of arguable the worst lost of any team this season, losing by 60 to a previously winless team. Both teams have championship pedigree, both are beat up at the moment, we will see who prevails.
Grant vs Noah R.
Grant | Noah | |
Projected Points | 134.6 | 132.2 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 52% | 48% |
H2H Record | 0-2 | 2-0 |
Points For | 569.7 | 615.6 |
Points Against | 598.16 | 584.54 |
Notes:
Top vs bottom in the west here but the matchup looks far from that. Grant said a prayer to the heavens and the saints answered, 3 of them in the starting lineup. After the atrocious start his team looks to keep heading in the right direction coming of the win last week. Noah, has had a powerhouse team this year putting up the most points in the league. He wants to keep the points coming in with all the boys starting and no injuries this week. Let’s see if Mostert is him or the saints prevail for Grant.
Landon vs Grayson
Landon | Grayson | |
Projected Points | 116.8 | 122 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 49% | 51% |
H2H Record | 1-3 | 3-1 |
Points For | 515.9 | 654.22 |
Points Against | 540.84 | 529.78 |
Notes:
Grayson is having the best season of his career with a hot start. Looking at a very even matchup Grayson said he feels his team needs to “Dominate.” He wants the boys to go 1-0 this week, and not worry about the future. The uncertainty of tee Higgins is a small problem for him. As for Landon, he said “I just gotta let the big dogs eat this week”. Coming off a tough loss to bauds sorry ass team. He said “we just gotta bounce back talked to the boys and told them “now” that’s all they needed to hear.” Should be some fireworks in this one.
Baud vs Hunter
Baud | Hunter | |
Projected Points | 122.9 | 117.1 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 53% | 47% |
H2H Record | 2-1 | 1-2 |
Points For | 564.46 | 518.54 |
Points Against | 566.68 | 603.72 |
Notes:
This is the matchup between speds here. Hunter is in the top 3 percent of all fantasy players on ESPN. The 3 percent that don’t have a win. His team is desperate for a win. Baud’s team is looking to go on a run with Ekeler coming back. The number 2 overall pick has been riddled by injuries and caused some problems on the roster. If only he had the Fields, DJ Moore stack maybe the season looks better. Hopefully Tua doesn’t Turndaballova and his team can get a win to keep up in the division.
Cal vs Jackson
Cal | Jackson | |
Projected Points | 128.9 | 124.8 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 52% | 48% |
H2H Record | 0-3 | 3-0 |
Points For | 588.16 | 571.98 |
Points Against | 613.32 | 641.98 |
Notes:
Interesting matchup here in week six between these two. Jackson’s team looking to keep the vibes rolling with the return of Cooper Kupp. However with Achane going down a large hit to the rb room. Cal said last week he was “blowing it up” and “im scared if im honest”. However he didn’t make any trades so it looks like he is riding with his guys. Jackson told me, “You know Im feeling pretty good, wish I had a more comfortable rb2 but Ill work with what I got”. Idk what the fuck Justice Hill is gonna do but Godspeed. The Kirk Cousins, KJ Osborn stack could become something special (it will not).
Brayden vs Noah D.
Brayden | Noah | |
Projected Points | 126.1 | 126.3 |
ESPN Odds to Win | 50% | 50% |
H2H Record | 2-0 | 0-2 |
Points For | 554.78 | 615.6 |
Points Against | 540.92 | 584.54 |
Notes:
This matchup could best be described with one word, runningback. When looking at both of these squads, we can see the lack of WR depth immediately. With CMC and Joe Mixon on Noah’s side and Saquon, Jacobs, and JT on Brayden’s, this matchup could result in a ground and pound battle between two Eastern division foes. Noah was quoted this week saying, “Im feeling pretty good”, per sources (off the record) Brayden is keeping his secret weapons on the bench, (all of the J. Williams). Only god knows what might happen if he dares to unleash this weapon, and we all must pray they never see the light of day. These two teams are projected to have a very competitive game, only separated by 0.2 points.
